After years of dancing around the idea of us, the pandemic finally made it happen. Phillip jokes that we did the AP Course in relationships - both of us furloughed in the midst of a global pandemic and living together. We passed with flying colors and we can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together.

There was a moment, maybe eight years ago, when Lisa and I were sitting at the bar at Six Feet Under, as friends, that changed my life forever. Her high heel, dangling off her toes, brushed my leg. Sounds silly, but it was electric and I knew back then, she was the one.



Not to take anything from my vows, but simply said, Elizabeth Jennings is my soulmate.
